With Jacqueline Fitch and Jen Randle
November 1 - November 3, 2019
Hallowood Retreat Center: 7300 Banner Rd, Dickerson, MD 20842
All living things move, whether it’s a plant growing towards the sun, or an eagle soaring over the mountains. For us as humans, movement is more than just survival – we move for joy and for our health and vitality. Confidence arises in the body through physical movement. There is magic in movement. It’s been said that movement is medicine; and if you put the body in motion, you will change.
We invite you to join us as we gather to be inspired to live in movement, still the mind and retreat together in the beauty of autumn at Hallowood Retreat Center, located on 55 wooded acres in scenic Frederick County, Maryland, just one hour from Columbia.
This tranquil private setting will bestow an opportunity for breathing space, connection, reflection through meditation; and of course, joy through movement!
There will be daily practices featuring Hatha Yoga (the poetry of movement), Energy Medicine Yoga (opening pathways for energy to flow) and playful body work with release balls and foam rollers. Take part in the healing practices of pranayama and meditation, including Yoga Nidra and labyrinth walking. Rejuvenate in the out-of-doors, hiking on the property or taking in the views atop Sugarloaf Mountain. We look forward to your joining us!
Jennifer Randle, E-RYT500, CBBPT found her practice in 2008 after a serious back injury and has been happily sharing her love of yoga, Pilates, and meditation ever since. Helping others find ease of movement and peace of mind is her passion.
Jacqueline Fitch, RYT 500 is passionate in her teaching of yoga as the ancient art of self-care and as a touchstone for our daily lives. Her latest endeavor is studying the wonders of combining the methodology of Energy Medicine and yoga; sharing the brilliant union of these two traditions is now her greatest pursuit.
$425, all inclusive, double occupancy.
